Location: 5315 Veterans memorial Boulevard, Metairie, New orleans, Louisiana

This was a casualty of Hurricane Katrina, a category five Atlantic hurricane in August 2005. The difference to other signs I have created was that this is the product of a natural disaster as opposed to an economic or cultural result. There was widespread critism of the Government response, and to this day there is destruction still evident due to underfunding and political mismanagement.
